Gaslighting

 

: psychological manipulation of a person usually over an extended period of time that causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts, perception of reality, or memories and typically leads to confusion, loss of confidence and self-esteem, uncertainty of one's emotional or mental stability, and a dependency on the perpetrator

Gaslighting can be a very effective tool for the abuser to control an individual. It's done slowly so the victim writes off the event as a one off or oddity and doesn't realize they are being controlled and manipulated. the act or practice of grossly misleading someone especially for one's own advantage

Newest Member To Our Family

 

A female Pom!  A cousin to Sable, who was

a Peek a Pom with the same coloring.  She is

a fast learner and after a vet check up we will

start training her to be my service dog.  She is

already checking up on me all the time so she

is pretty smart.

Her name is Onyx Star.

I got her a new harness and collar,

since she chewed up the other ones.

Onyx first grooming.  She did great and loved 

being there.  Love the gals at the parlor!

5/21/2025 

Was Spray day and Onyx was first to be done.  So

it was an early morning for her.  She did great according

to the vet.'s letter, well behaved.  She weight in at

8 lbs. 2 oz and still growing!

5/28/2025

It's been a week since surgery, only one more day of 

med and she is on the mend.  One more week before

we can bath her and she can go back to the groomers.

1/6-7/2025 Sable

 We lost our little girl, Sable passed away.  

We had her for over 13 1/2 years.  She 

brought joy to all that stopped to get 

to know her!  She was with me all the

time, I called her my shadow.
