Maple Seeds!
This is why our gardens aren't just open to
public so you can just visit. We never know
what they yard will look like in the morning!
5/2/2026
It should look like this:
3 hours to vac up the garden beds and
deck. Then re-mowing the north lawn
again
5/3&4/2026
Again same as above.
5/5&6/2026
More of the above! Hopefully
with the wind tonight they will
all be down. Back to the roof
in the morning.
5/7&8/2026
More of the above and still
coming down.
5/9&10 /2026
The third week of more of the
above, my daily task to remove
all the seeds and less ants.
5/11,12,13,&14/2026
More of the above and a few days
of twice a day to keep the seeds
off the yard and the ants away.
5/25/2026
Finally the maple seeds have
let up but now we are dealing
with the tree that is dying.
This is now all over this area.
The only way to remove is to mow, with
gas prices so high! Yep we are mowing.
We have seen two of their trees fall on
their house already. Plus when they removed
trees a couple years back they wanted
to use our yard to take them down. That
isn't going to happen during any season!
They stated the maple trees would come
down but no! We have roots in our yard
from all their trees that were planted on
the fence line. They are starting to move
our fence and we have removed roots
that were all the way to our house.
Yes, we have limbs almost to our home,
as the trees lean our way.

2026 Mardi Gras Azalea
sport:
an azalea that was for my grand father's funeral.
After 10 years babying this shrub she is really
showing off this year.
