It was a 4 vac bag day plus one

dead raccoon!  It just took 2 hours to 

bag it all up.

I was asked why I vac up every day?

Keeping the property free of mold is the

key here.  If you have allergies to mold

you would understand.  Also while doing

so I can get seeds and those bugs vac to 

save from having to spray! This past year

we have had to use 4 bottles of Round up.

Yes, that many weeds and we have never

had this many weeds.  You can watch these

seeds float all over the neighborhood.

Another Weekend of Storms

 They started today and they say three

back to back storms and extremely

high winds!  Our yard is trashed.

When it dries out some I'll be cleaning

it up!  

Sat. afternoon we had to put the tarp 

back on the greenhouse and hoop house

and again had to retry it down.

Monday after my morning appt.

I was able to get back to the picking

up leaves.  13 3/4 bags were taken 

off the back yard for the past 7 

days, none were from our trees.

With 6 taken off the front

yard and street.  Our trees in our

yard close to the curb have yet

to drop all their leaves. A majority

is leaves that have blown into our

yard from neighboring trees.  

10/19/2025---Sunday Storm/Wind

 The morning kept me inside doing

the stripping but the minute we got

a bit of sun it was time to go out

and pick up what had come down

overnight with the rain.

Before:

It took two trips but 45 minutes 

later is was done!  2 bags of 

mulched maple leaves were 

taken off the north yard.

Tropical Hibiscus

 Today was the day to start the stripping

process due to the cutting back on the 

watering and the leaves were starting

to turn yellow!  That I do is take the 

larger thicker outside leaves off and 

clean all the maple leaves out of it.

After 2 hours of stripping:

I have a few more to go but I'll need 

the ladder to reach them

10/13/2025 Last Plant Is Inside!!

 

Now to strip her!

The heaters have been placed in

the greenhouses and all is well 

and I can rest up for the next journey.

Had to move it to the other side of the

room!
