What a busy day dealing with spam
and ya know, one loves to learn.
After reading the 'View Message
Source' I have found some interesting
information! SMTP information
about abuse. So the past few days
I have been sending them some
of the spam I have been receiving.
Today they requested that I send
photos of the 'View Message Source'
of some of the spam that I have been
getting. So I grouped them per IP
addresses and what I was seeing
from the massive 7,712 spams
from last year.
For those of you that don't know
where to find the 'View Message
Source' it's can be found in the
upper right hand corner ---, click
on the --- and open the 'View Message
Source.' You can find lots of interesting
information on the spam email. IP
addresses were what I was mainly
going for but I have learned it's
the SMTP information of origin is
what can help when going to the
abuse desks of companies listed.
I have also notice that some
of the spammers use companies
that are just priceless.
Spammers make up IP address and
emails! I can tell you I have 8 books
of spam information from all I have
gotten. One starts seeing a pattern
and yes, you can look up IP addresses.
Just pure 'Harrassment!' GasLighting!
What gets me is Microsoft accounts
are being used to do their spamming.
So after a nice chat with copilot yesterday
who offer some tech information to me.
I'd like to share:
When you open the 'View Message
Source' you can ctrl A to select it all,
ctrl C to copy, then go to the forward
to forward the email, once you do that
you can ctrl V to paste it in the message
area. Then you can find the company's
name and file an abuse claim. If you
find it's coming from let's say Google
they will tell you to go back to the --- and
click on it, when it opens go down to the
block sender and click on that.
There are also Rules in the top bar mid
center in which one can add to stop
spammers. A good rule is simple so go
after the Headings and email address.
My advice is to record them! I have in
my books their Email Header, IP
Address and Emails recorded.
Keep it simple is the rule of the game.
If you get an email Google Calendar
invite or request for payment. Record
the information and block them!
Do not click or respond or make payments.
I also watch here as to which countries
show up on the blog sight, it will just
floor you at the numbers. This is different
than actual visits which I actually
track in my monthly counts. I Thank
these folks but it's not what my blog
is about! The key to education
is what unlocks or locks the doors.
With this said for those of you that
spam, stupidity can't be fixed, so if
you are being spammed record and
protect yourself. Those of you out
there that use other companies beware.
----- Report concerns and file a report.
File a report!! One doesn't have to
put up with this abuse or harassment.
If you didn't request the information
--- report it.
If you didn't give them permission to
send you emails ---- Report it.
Most big companies have abuse desks
and they need the information from
the 'View Message Source.'
After an update, I noticed that
my virus program had added a
file to my email box. So I took
all the spam and dumped them
into this box and when I did the
pop up stated they would no longer
be going into the junk file.
It also makes them easier to block.

It's just time to block all spams after
sending off the report.
