Pineapple Express Headed Our Way!

 From Thursday to Wed. of next

week we are to see several back 

to back storms, 5 to 6 inches of 

rain!  A steady stream of moisture

from HI headed to the PNW.

It will be a great time to stay inside

and cross stitch!!

Today was a trip!!  We had water

around the circle bed out back and 

all the normal spots have filled up

with water.  The wind picked up and

dump pine needles all over the place.

Still picking up leaves!

All I'll say is gone with the wind!  I

had to put the tarp back on the greenhouse

4 times before noon.  Need to get stronger

rope!!

They say tomorrow will be worse when the 

last couple storms hit!

It rained all day and more to come tomorrow.

Flooding and landslides.

A break from the pouring rain this morning!

But more on the way.  It was a nice day to 

try to clean up the Hydrangeas.  It took 2 trips

but all 14 are cleaned up and stripped.

Hopefully today I can get out and vac up all

the junk that has fallen into our yard.  What

a mess!

It's Cross Stitch Time For The Rest Of The Winter Time!!

 With the weather turning colder,

20s the past few days in the morning.

The leaves are about done falling out

of the trees!  Yard debris bins are again

full so it's time to stay inside unless it

warms up.

I start to Cross Stitch this time of year!

So today the latest one that I started last

year is now out and time to finish what was

started!!

 

This one is double in size so it won't fit the usual 

frame.   I will post photos as I work to finish.

11/26/2023 More Bloomers

I went out to the Brug House to water

and deadhead.  To my surprise there 

were a few blooms and more buds!

I couldn't get photos of all the blooms

but here are some of what was found.

Still Blooming!!

 No fertilizer after Sept. 1 but

I'm still seeing buds and blooms!

Tuberose, a gift from a special KS Gardner.

I put them in the greenhouse in a hurry as they

didn't bloom and it was to get cold!

Another Storm Over Night!

 Can't wait to see what mess this storm

will leave in the yard!  We spent most 

of the day cleaning up the mess from

over night. 

Or should I say gone with the wind?

A Day Of Rain!!

 A nice day to watch movies and

rest as the out side is a huge mess!

Staying dry is the key for today.
