 I am so sorry I had to turn you away,

but the yard was trashed with all the

falling Maple seeds.  Hopefully they 

will stop falling soon so you can 

come back and visit.

for stopping in yesterday to read 

my blog.  It is just so amazing they

pull some crap and then my blog

numbers go sky high.  Thank you

 for making my counts go over 

80 in few hours!!  Yep pure 

harassment.

Video Camera Don't Lie!!

 My husband and I spent our day (5/8/2021)

picking up the neighbor's to the north 

Maple seeds.  We picked up 4 - 5 gallon

buckets that had flown all over our yard.

Some of you know the issues we had last

fall with the leaves covering our gardens.  

At that time we had a Sheriff Deputy come

to our door about how the leaves were 

being returned to the neighbor.  The neighbor

offered to come pick them up, which no 

way is that going to happen.  I see how 

he keeps his yard.  His other option was 

we were to bag them and return.  Well 

that is what we did and this evening

while I was working on the photos taken 

today some guy walks up to our door, 

camera in hand and recording.  I went 

over and shut the door as he set off Sable.  

I told Allen who it was and what I did.  

He was shocked!   He decided we should 

call 911and went to the door to tell him.   

Our property is posted NO Trespassing.   

We did call 911.   We had a deputy call us 

back and after that conversation we decided 

to run the video cameras back and put them 

on our cell phones.  

Wow, did we learn alot!!

Why would this neighbor go to the neighbor 

to the east of us first before coming to our door??    

That neighbor knows not to come to our door 

or to our property.  It's because of this neighbor 

issues is why our property got posted in the first  

place.  

As I told the deputy, we did what he requested 

and they were returned.  I told him I have a 

business license and my gardens are my 

business so it's important that they stay 

cleaned up so that folks can tour our gardens.

If my neighbor doesn't want this returned, 

how do you think we feel having the junk 

drop in our beautiful gardens or to pay 

for it's disposal?  

Why should we have to pay for this when 

it's not ours.......None of our trees drop 

stuff into their yards.   But their trees 

damage our yard! 

Just take a good look at the Febr. storm 

damage.  It is an ongoing problem with 

their disease, damaged and neglected

trees that are planted on the property line.

Again my husband and I spent our day 

cleaning up our yard.  I clocked in 7 1/2

hours and DH clocked 4, we picked

up 5 1/2 --5 gallon pickle buckets of 

the neighbor to the north's Maple Trees.

We have now got a 32 gallon bag 3/4 full!

While on the ladder I was able to see their

yard and let me tell you it's a pit!!  But yet

he screams about me returning the bagged

seeds.  

What got me is he came to the door with

his cell phone in hand video taping the 

encounter, no mention that he was recording.

Now isn't that against the law??

I spent half my day picking up 3/4 - 5 gallon

pickle bucket of Maple seeds.....also vaced

up the gravel areas and that was a half bucket

of fir needles on half of the east property line.

Again today I'll be picking up Maple seeds.

Closed Mother's Day!

 We have decided to not be open this Mother's

Day.

Febr. storm found after the tarp was removed. 

Opening Our Gardens

 We are in hopes of opening up the 

gardens on May 1 but with this heat

it maybe a week later.   I still have

lots of cleanup and I'm in the process

of painting the house.  Plus have to

empty out the greenhouses.

So I will post when it's open.

Opening Date;   May 1

Please understand that we are a

working garden and still in the 

process of moving plants out and 

still trying to get the painting done.

What Is April Going To Bring??

We have had to deal with neighboring trees at

least one a month for the past three month.  So

we asked each other what will April bring?

One wind storm already filled 2--96 gallon 

yard debris cans.  2 hours worth of cleanup.

We are currently watching branches coming

down on both the east and west trees.   

The east tree limb is tied with rope.  

We are also seeing lots of tree trimmers 

showing up for estimates.

We can't put up the new carport until

this is take care of!

Again these folks have gotten letters 

about how bad their trees are!

Well today was one of those days!!

I had just finished cleaning the house

when I heard a chainsaw!  Yep, close by

so I looked out the kitchen window in

time to see the first limb hit the fence.

I grabbed the van keys as it was parked

in the gravel.  I got out there and yelled

for him to get the limb off the fence.  I

parked the van in the driveway and the

limb was still on the fence.  So I grabbed

the camera and went back out to get this

photo.

 

 

I had the groomer here and she thought 

I should call my husband and have him 

deal with it.  They were still dropping 

them on the fence.  All they were doing

was cutting and dropping, they

didn't care if they dropped in our yard.   

No tying the limbs and lowering, just 

cut and drop.

This is how their professional tree company

left them.  Tomorrow I will be checking out the 

top rail of the fence for damage.   Yes, there is

damage but nothing we can do. So they can just

look at the damage on their side of the fence.

Do you think we are going to have more damage??   

 YES!!!  These trees are now top heavy, 

can't wait for the next wind. These limbs 

will now just drop, nothing to stop them

and do damage.
