Golf Course Carts Cruising the Hood

 This evening I told a group of kids cruising 

the streets  in one purple cart it was illegal 

to drive them on public roadways before 

picking up my bucket and going in to call 311.  

Shortly afterwards their parents show up 

and what was stated was so off base.  

Excuse me, it is out of character of me 

to flip off a 14 year old.  Lie, strike one!

Strike two, it's against the law to drive 

them on a Public Roadway according 

to the Sheriff  deputy we talked to.  

Strike three, do not come to our home 

again and walk up like you own it because 

you walked by the no trespassing signs.

Strike four,  NO Mask when it's mandated.

Strike five, no appointment!

Your kid lied to you!!  'You' do not own

the Neighborhood as you put it because there

are well over 7,000 citizens in Felida and your 

attitude to elderly folks was priceless.

Glad to know you know a Sheriff deputy, 

maybe they can advise you of the law?

There are other ways your kids can have 

fun.  Ya know if they have an accident, 

you are liable as your kids are under age!

By the way, we have video cameras and 

our proof I didn't flip them off!

When we ran back the video more

was spotted.   The first trip at 5:16pm

the cart it appeared the one kid was 

teaching the young lady how to drive.  

The male was the son of the folks that 

showed up at our door.  

Again the cart appeared on NW 33 Avenue

at 5:16  before they again appeared 

at 6:46 as I was out deadheading the 

front curb flower bed.   One of the kids

when I told them it was illegal to drive the

cart on a Public roadway got off the back of

the cart and walked away.   Smart kid!!

The driver got out of the cart and was 

seen on his cell phone. 

At 7:10 these folks showed up at our door

unannounced.  Ya know them??

garden in the morning hours.

Another Day of Flying Dirt!!

 Well the workers are here, time to get the water out.

But I waited until the last minute to do so

today due to the dirt flying.

I had stuff to do outside but stayed in until I 

needed to take care of my plants and water.  

While minding my own business, I get yelled

at by their contractor after he dropped the 

bucket on the tractor.   "If you want to call

the city,  I'm done!!"  Then they got into 

the truck and peeled out of the circle.

Excuse me???   

I can't even work in my own yard without being

bullied!!  Typical!!

This tells me that the man has no clue as 

to what he is doing!!   If he has a business 

he should know about the flying dirt and 

how unhealthy it is.  Also one should know 

the laws about grading.  But again I'm 

betting no permits or he hasn't even looked

into what is needed.   He sure doesn't care 

about neighboring plants or what the dirt 

that was flying does to them.  I have been 

taking yellowing leaves off my trees 

for two weeks due to I can't properly care 

for what I grow.   I know one can say it's 

the heat but nope not in my case.......

my yard is green for a reason.

You did the so call landscaping in the heat

of the year.   Plus these folks have lived 

there for 10 years and have done nothing 

to their yard to improve the curb appeal.

But I do thank you for pulling the toilet!!   

Let me also tell you, we are not in the City!!  

Duh!!

Strange!!

 

While out watering last night I noticed a

green golf course cart pulling into the 

circle with an elderly couple.  What was so

strange is the female was videoing the trip

around the circle.  At least the male waved 

but come on here.  Just makes one wonder

why?  Wonder if they know about Clark 

County's GIS where one can get information

on property?   Or google maps??  

Just so strange??

All one can do is shake their heads at folks.

I didn't know golf course carts were legal on

public streets?   This isn't the first time we

have had this happen.  Before the 4th of July

there was a lady with two smaller kids dropping

off the Neighborhood fliers.  

But again folks know that there is no law

enforcement.  Hence the smaller motor

vehicles we are seeing with kids on them.

Boats and motorhomes in the streets.

Just strange how the laws are broken.

Today was the third time!!  Maybe I should post

the videos?

Today while out working in the yard there

was a young man on a pocket bike, no

helmet.  He was sure watching down 

the circle and didn't look forward until

he was past it.   It is illegal to ride 

pocket bikes on Public streets!!

It's Back

 Need I say more?   On freshly graded soil

 as I watch their contractor grade it today 

while working outside with my trees.

Second night in a roll.

The bus didn't leave until 10:26 am today.

My bet is the bus will return this evening due

the male just came in and parked on the street.

So predictable. 

Yep, third night now with the bus!  Half on 

the dirt the other half on the driveway.  

Why is this ranch operating in this heat and

smoke?

Husband came in tonight and asked how my

day was?   I text him when the contractor had

his outburst so he knew part of it.  He said all

the vehicles were in the driveway!   I just sort

of predicted their behavior!  

I truly want to thank them for pulling their 

crap and coming in here and reading my 

blog......the counts are sky high!!  

Love how they take care of the bus!!  Leaving

the door open all night!!

Sunday night, we both are expecting 

it to return.

For those of you reading this back post.

There were issues with the landscaping done

by this farmer who didn't have permits to 

move or bring in soil.  Yes, we saw the bus

and vehicles parked into the new areas get

stuck and sink due to how the land was 

moved.  We also watch before painting the 

fact that the siding had to be removed due

to water damage due to the Leaf Guard gutters.

Know for a fact that they were installed wrong!

Leaf Guard was sent out to our home due to

gutters were leaking and went to the above 

address.  It was admitted to us when we called

due to they didn't show up that there was issues.

The next day Leaf Guard was out to inspect our

and had to be re-installed in 12 different places.

We still had issues and leaks.  We had ours removed

and different gutters when they again leaked.

This farmer also installed a sprinkler system right

in the middle of the yard not around the edge of 

the landscape!  Ya get what ya pay for!!   At least

the toilets are gone!

Closing The Gardens For The Season

 On September 15th to give me time to 

get all the plants into their winter homes.

There is a lot to put away this year!

Perennial Hibiscus

 

Went out this am to find that the

Perennial Hibiscus is starting to

open.  Some of the plants were

leaning so I had to use the deer 

wire to hold them up.  More photos

to come.
