West Fence Line!

The above photos are from early fall when I had
cut the hostas down.

Here is what it looks like today, 11/19/2025

I have been working hard to prepare and cleanup
the yard for winter!

Getting Ready For Winter

Before photo:

After:

I spent all day outside cleaning up
along the north fence line.  Stripping
plants leaves and cleaning up the
leaves that come out of the north
tree.  While vacing up at 4 pm the
smell of smoke was strong.  I finished
and went in as again no one should have
to smell firepit smoke!  Funny how fast
it stopped!

Still a lot to strip and cleanup.

As of today we have taken 3-64 gallon
bins of leaves off our property of mulched
leaves that have blown into our yard. They
are a mix of leaves and evergreens so the
county's leaf coupon isn't helping us due
to they only want leaves no evergreen mix.
No we will not compost these, to acidy.
Hopefully after our bins will be emptied
on Monday we can start on ours that need
to fill our bins.  We have 3 cans for our stuff
full already.

As of today we have now taken 5-64 gallon
yard debris bins off our yard.  Yesterday was
my day to vac the whole yard again to clean
all the leaves that have blown in from the last
east winds.

Will go down as another step on the path
of life.  Surgery went well and we now know
just how bad my heart is from all the stress.

Walk a mile in my shoes before you
lie about me!

I can't wait to talk about this journey!

2025 Time To Put Halloween Away

 Sort of

It has been suggested I use the
Ghost Girl as the Ghost of Christmas
past?

Left my smaller Skelly in the
cement pot out with red lights
and the bee arbor with the blue
lights.

I want to thank the Dad that
brought his daughter trick or
treating last night.  Glad they
love how we decorated!

10/30/2025

It was a 4 vac bag day plus one
dead raccoon!  It just took 2 hours to
bag it all up.

I was asked why I vac up every day?
Keeping the property free of mold is the
key here.  If you have allergies to mold
you would understand.  Also while doing
so I can get seeds and those bugs vac to
save from having to spray! This past year
we have had to use 4 bottles of Round up.
Yes, that many weeds and we have never
had this many weeds.  You can watch these
seeds float all over the neighborhood due to
neighbors that don't care for their yards.
