What An Awesome Weekend!

Fall is here!  Leaves are falling!

Saturday, 9/28 we got the veggie
garden bed all cleaned up and
then covered the beds.
Then I worked on the Perennial
Hibiscuses and got the two largest
ones cut up and took some cuttings.
Down to just 6 to go.  I even got a
few Clematis put away.

Sunday 9/29 morning we started
on the last of the tree mess on the
east fence line.  Now we hope the
fence will stop moving as their roots
were making it bow.  Matter of fact
the fence company said they couldn't
do any more for it until the trees
were gone.

We had built a PVC rack for the ladders
and them cover them with Plastic to keep
them dry.  DH was glad to see they didn't
rust due to the mess!  He remove 20
gallons of mess and now I can get out
there to clean the fence.  I will have to
remove all the edgers to get more mess
removed and then clean the fence.   Yes,
I'll be bleaching them clean!

Taking a break before doing more Clematis.

9/30/2024 -- Monday
I got the edgers pulled and then I cleaned out
what was behind them.  I cleaned the area next
and had a full 5 gallon bucket!

I then cleaned the deck, the lawn and 3 of the
north flower beds besides the Peony bed.  I
took a full bucket and 1/2 off those areas.  Ya
go out there now and there are leaves again.

Photos to come,

Getting Ready For The Next Surgery!

A lot of stress here so I may have
to take a break.  We have weathered
DH surgery, two tree service removing
trees on adjacent properties and the
legal action that were filed when there
was no crime committed according to
the report filed.  More on that one after
our next court date, the original post was
put in draft as I update it.  Don't want to
stress out the person that filed it!  The story
will all come out with doc as our proof.
It will be public records by then.

Let's just say lots of doctors appt. to get
ready for this next surgery.

I Want To Thank Everyone That Has Visited!

You keep my counts going up!

If you don't like the truth I speak
then don't read my blog!

What A Beautiful Morning Of Rain!

The rain may cut back on my time
being out cutting back but ya know
I feel the dark clouds will soon part!

The yard is disappearing fast.

Photo from Thursday:

A great way to relieve all the stress of the
issues from the hood.  Yes, our grass is green
but it's been a challenge due to the high temps
of this summer.  The back yard is another
story as we won't water the north lawn this
year.  We have the veggie garden almost
emptied out and trying to decide if we will
grow veggies next year due to climate change.

What An Awesome Day!!

Ya know when one door closes there
are many other doors to open!  : )
I love the legal system!!

Come On Rain!

92 degrees today so not much got
done.  Blue Berries got cut back,
the nana leaves that were stripped
off the trunks then they were laid
by the south fence, all leaves were cut up and
put in the yard debris bin.  Then
later in the afternoon I was able
to get a couple Clematis cut
back and tucked away.

But the weather folks are saying
rain and in the 70s on Wed.  A better
day to play!

9/25/2024

What a great day to play in the rain!
Several down pours and I got a lot
done and cut back. I started the day
by getting the yard debris from out
back and as I walked past the north
lawn and saw all the pine on the
ground.  Got to the deck and it was
all over that too!  Got the bin to the
front and then I took the broom to the
deck, picked up a full dust pan of pine.
I then cut back a few Perennial Hibiscus
as it wasn't 9:00am to mow.   When it was
time to mow I dropped the mower blade
all the way down to pick up the pine mess.
When I emptied the mower bag it was
mainly pine mulched up.  Then I got to
back to work on cutting down the
Perennial Hibiscus until the rain hit
and I switched to doing the Clematis
on the south side of the driveway.  Putting
them away after they were cut back.
They all needed to rest for the winter
months.

Lipton Ice Tea Unsweetened

I have just learn that they are going to
discontinue this 3 oz jar that makes 30
quarts.  My favorite tea that isn't
sweetened or flavored.  I do not do the
bottled teas at all, just don't like the taste.

As far back as I can remember there was
a jar of Lipton Tea in the cabinet.

So sad.
