My Kitsch Journey!

 On 5/21/2025 I placed my first

order at Kitsch.com.

Over a month ago I decided to 

switch to bar shampoo and 

conditioner.  To leave the world

of plastic containers for my hair

product.  

For years I have searched for 

product to keep the locks in 

great shape.  To only be 

disappointed after buying some

of the expensive products out 

there.

Being a strawberry blonde, you

will see the oily look faster than

anything.  I was tired of folks 

asking me when was the last time

you washed your hair.  I would tell 

them just this morning and the looks

were priceless. It looks so dirty.

Not only the dirty look but constant

tangles with hair over 3 feet long

Also having dry skin pushed me 

to try their Shea Butter body wash

and exfoliating gloves. I started

out with the Rice Water Protein 

Shampoo and Conditioner bar set.

Plus the set with Argan Oil.  

These are the two products that I was 

leaning towards in my search of what

made my hair look great as I used to 

be a daily washer.

I have also purchased the 

shower filter as we have 

seen what the hard water 

does to our plants and the 

refrigerator water line.  

What a world of difference 

this has made.

The rotation of bars is the

key and not over doing on 

putting the bars on the hair.  

Bars don't lather like the 

plastic bottle soaps so you 

know up front.  It may take 

a couple uses before you 

get the hang of this.  Using

bars below the ear area and

making sure you rinse out 

completely.  You will love

the soft feel of your hair 

and it's so clean!  There are 

different bars to use and try, 

but I found the ones I like 

right away.  They have lots 

of product to select from and do 

take the hair test first if you 

don't know your hair and what it 

does.  It will save your time 

with this product to know this 

information.  You can order 

direct or there are some 

stores that offer their product;

Target, Amazon & Ultra were

the main ones but we are 

hearing that there are additional 

ones.  So you can buy locally.

I have yet to seek them out but 

also hear their stock is low as

a lot of folks are learning about 

this company.  You can read

Just two months and I can

 see over an inch of new rk

hair growth!!  Right now 

I'm at 2 inches of baby 

fine growth!

I will tell you it's protein 

base product and there

are other benefits to their 

products.  Less hair in 

the brush or drain, nails 

become health and less

in the vac when it comes 

to hair.

The Rice Water bars can 

be used daily, this is why

I started with these bars.   

You can get a build up

of protein and they recommend

the Tea Tree/mint bars

for weekly clarification.   I 

use the argon bars for 

relaxing the waves and curls. 

After reading about the

Rosemary/Biotin bars and

the need for this type of

oils after menopause due 

to hormone imbalance.

So I try to use that set once 

a week.

They have sales and offer

Going on my 4th month of

This past week I purchased

a couple bars and sent a set

to both my Mom and Sister!

My sister was at awed with 

the squeaky clean hair she 

got and it was so soft!  She

was excited too when I got 

another call when she found

baby fine hair growing.

I was asked to give an update

here and yes, I'm still using 

Kitsch products!  Matter of fact

my last order I got a bar set for

my Husband.  He has been loosing

hair like crazy as of late, due to 

stress and his having to have a 

pacemaker put in due to stress.

More information on what I am 

using now.  In my research I have 

found that once females reach menopause

there is a need for the Rosemary/mint 

shampoo and condition bars so this 

has been added to the shelf of bars.

At first I didn't like what it did with 

the hair so now I only use it once a 

week.  Oily look needs the Tea Tree

bars so I have played with that set.

They say only use once a week but 

if I do a light wash before using the

set bar for that day it really helps take 

the oil look away.  My main bars I use

is the Rice water and the argon ones.

The baby fine hair continues to grow and 

I'm seeing about 6" worth!   With some meds

and stress you will see loss of hair so keep in 

mind.  I saw less hair loss within just a couple

uses.  Remember it is normal to loose hair daily,

but this product does help in reducing the loss 

when you use the right bars.  There are also oils

that one can use that Kitsch will recommend.

Kitsch is also adding products that is

growing the brand!  I love the French 

pin to hold my wet hair up for a while 

air dry before blow drying.  I never 

would do so before and only leave the towel on

for 10 minutes at most.   I can also just blow

dry when I want a refresh look!  I just lean forward

and blow dry for about five minutes at most.

I will be getting my 6 month trim and 

can't wait to hear what my hair dresser

thinks.

She mentioned that my hair looked extra healthy!

She also notice the baby hairs that was coming in

and asked what I was doing.  I told her I switched 

to the bar shampoo and condition.  Keep doing what
