4/27/2022 Having Fun!!

According to the County it's a civil matter
if our neighbor hires someone to remove
their trees and they trash our yard!!
They are responsible for the mess.

What protection was done was our tarping
and trying to protect the plants that are
coming up.  We have told them not to do
removal as our plants were coming up
already.  A previous letter we told them
the best time to remove them would be
when the yard is dormant.

Sure glad they listened!!

One question for everyone.  If you saw
someone not caring how the trees come
down or what it would cause in the line
of damage would you hire this company??

More photos so you can see what our
yard looks like.

Can you tell me how this company
protected our property?   All I saw
was two pieces of plywood up against
my fence.

Tell me how I'm to clean up my
yard after just having knee surgery?

3:30 PM Yard is Trashed!!

Wow, removing trees this time of year with
wind and rain isn't going to impacted our gardens!!!
I knew it would be bad but not this bad and they
only have one tree down to the fence level.

The whole yard is going to have to be vac
to get all the chips out of the beds.  Not clean
now!!

Now you know why I'm prone to muscle
spasms.....neighbor's tree trash our yard!!

Good Morning Sunshine!!

But according to the weather report
a week of rain!!  Thank you Mother
Nature for watering the garden when
I am not able to!   Now if you would
allow us to warm up some, it would
be great!!

Another Letter

According to the letter, they are going to
weather permitting, remove the trees!
So we called our son and he stopped
by with his step son and they helped
cover the west garden bed.

All we can do is cover and hope for the
best after we have told them removal
should be done when the garden is
dormant.  Our plants have been coming
up for the past month so we tried to
protect them.

Who cares?!?!?!

Our yard has been cleaned up for months!!

Making progress!!   I just love those
tree trimmers that just cut and drop, very
little was lowered by the ropes.  Plus
work being done in the rain!!   Then there
is the issue of protecting our property, if
you zoom in you will find a couple pieces
of plywood up against our fence.  That is
to protect the fence??  Husband is home
today to help out as I'm in my chair today.
After helping yesterday to cover, I know
today was a day of rest.  He comes in and
tells me to shut off the heat pump as the
wood chips are going into the unit.   He
wants it covered to keep the mess from
going inside.  They cut the tops off on
the trees and just dropped them.....Got
Sable up from her nap!!  Boom!!

According to their letter,  "They would
maximize the impact to your property."
Raining and the wind is blowing!!

Here is what I found when I went at at 2:51PM

Partial Medical Meniscectomy

Several folks have asked for an update.
The above is the first post on the knee
issue.  After many months of limping,
tests and several doctors' visits I was
given a surgery date of 4/21/2022 at
noonish.  The morning of the 21 I
received a call asking me to be there
2 hours sooner as there was an opening
and they could do the surgery sooner.

The 19th I went in for a covid test and
an ekg which was required before they
would schedule the surgery.

Long story short is they were going
to sew the tears in the right knee called
Meniscus tears.  They preformed a
arthroscopy to the right knee.  To much
damage and then did a partial medical
meniscectomy.   Bless my surgeon Dr.
Cornelius as he saved me from a knee
replacement that is down the road in a
few years.   I was told I had good range
in my knees by another specialist so  I
fought to repair what was needed.  I was
prepared for whatever Dr. Cornelius would
find.  I was told of the dangers and what
to look for.  He is the best and well worth
the pain to have this done right!!  For the
next 4 to 6 months I will have to be careful
and take it easy!

I have a whole list of things I need to avoid
and not do.  I truly thank all the medical staff
that helped get me back on my feet.  Especially
the nurse that put in the IV!  I bruise easily
and this time no bruising at all, she did
an excellent job!!  They even called the
next day to see how I was doing!

The operative findings, procedure detail
were in great detail with the photos that
were taken, not a pretty picture so I will
spare you the mess.  I knew how bad this
was due to the pain and trying to work
through the process.   You see I have had
plenty of medical in my history so I under-
stand and appreciate what was done to get
me back on my feet.  I have a month of
Physical Therapy to look forward to and
need to get used to the crutches which I
found these past couple days I'm allergic
to the rubber that is used.  So this morning
I ordered covers.

Today I was able to get a shower and
redress the knee!!

Not bad on the swelling and bruising,
but I'm allergic to that they used
to clean the leg.

I had a good chuckle at the nurse
that commented on the flip flop
tan I have so early in the season.

5/2/2022

Today was take the stitches out!
Now I can go for a walk if I take it
slow and if I get tired rest!!  Ice if
swelling comes back.  A few other
no nos......but take it slow.  Need to
put the limping days behind me!

Another Delay In Opening!

The neighbor's trees were not removed so
we are awaiting for that to happen now
that there are several branches dangling
after the last snow storm.

Also I am set for surgery on the knee
it will be a month before I am back
on my feet they say.

While it's still cold alot of the plants
are suffering, so when I am able I'll be
cut some of them back.  We are going
to delay the opening, sorry.

Maybe Mid May?

4/23/2022

Well today we got a letter stating that
they will again try to remove the trees
on the 25th if weather permits.  Wow,
just 2 day notice.......the 25th doesn't
work for us!!    Our yard is clean and
it better stay that way!!  We also stated
in a previous letter that tree work should
be done when the gardens are dormant.
Our yard is not dormant now and has
been coming up for a month now!
