Thank You for Visiting

It's time to focus on the garden so I'll
disappear for a while to get the collection
put away.  Hope you enjoy the back issues
on my madness in the garden to create and
deal with issues of trying to keep our gardens
looking nice!   Yes, surrounding neighbors
can become a problem for others when they
have a garden like ours.  As an attorney stated
to us, you don't have a common Clark County
yard, you have created something like you
would find in a well know garden.  It sure can
tell the love for nature and it's just breath taking.
I can't believe all you have to deal with and
still keep them enjoyable.

I remember my grannie saying remember to
keep your place like you would love if the
Queen were to stop in.    I love the green
with the brown around us.  Environment is
really important!!

More when I can take a breath.

Stop and smell the flowers!!

Overwhelming Year In The Garden

My DH just stood in the front yard and stated
he was overwhelmed at what he saw!  How do
you keep it all looking so nice?   This time of
year thing start to go south!   It's time to take
care and get the plants ready for being cut back
and ready for winter.  No more fertilizer!!  Let
them rest!!

Now is the time to start moving plants that need
to be put in a different spot.  Divide plants and
clean up is important!!    I started stripping and
thinning out the nanas.  Next is stripping the rose
leaves and making sure there is no leave left on the
soil.

Time to get the greenhouses ready!!

Closing Date 9/15/2022  Open by appointments only
until 9/25/2022, please remember we are a working
garden.

9/9/2022 High Winds

Again our yard is trashed!!   I cleaned up what
I could last night but there is more to do today!
Just what I needed!! So far 4 mulched bags
have been removed!

9/11/2022

2 and 1/2 more bags removed.

 9/17/2022

We spent our Sat. cleaning up around the carport
where the classic sits.  We took 32 gallons of
evergreen junk from this area.  I went in after
DH had cleaned what he could and took 3 full
bags up from the carport to the front driveway.

9/18/2022

Sunday I had to cleanup the area to the north
fence line, from one bed I took up a full pickle
bucket of needles, pine cones, seeds and bark.
I have the strawberry bed to do next when I have
some spare time.
