Another Storm Over Night!

 Can't wait to see what mess this storm

will leave in the yard!  We spent most 

of the day cleaning up the mess from

over night. 

Or should I say gone with the wind?

 Today after vac the leaves I

was able to take down 5 clumps

of nana stalks and line the fence

line with them

I was asked how we get them ready

for the winter months here.

First we remove the leaves.

We try to leaves the stalks for up to 2 to 3 weeks

before cutting down the stalks.

Until they start to turn brown.

Nanas cut to the ground!  Stalks placed at the 

fence to keep the squirrels out of the yard.

the hatches Dorthey it's going to be

a fun ride with possible 50mph winds!

The next 30 hours will be fun! 

What a day!!  High winds and a huge

mess in the yard!  Needs to dry out to 

get all the pine needles removed.  The

yard recycle bins get empty today, just

hope we don't loose a bin as they were

so heavy when taking to the curb.

A Day Of Rain!!

 A nice day to watch movies and

rest as the out side is a huge mess!

Staying dry is the key for today.

Halloween Is Done And Dusted!!

 Onward to Thanksgiving!!  Do I want to 

decorate or just wait until Christmas??

Mr. Bones and The Ghost Girl are put

away and the other are hanging to dry.

Lights are down and being recharged 

before being put away!  Sad to say the

Wicked Witch of the West dress didn't

come out this year.  Maybe next year.

Now to plan for next Halloween!!!
