Latest Project
To keep my sanity while I'm inside
and trying to stay off my leg.
A friend does some awesome newbie
baby dolls and asked if I would make
a Christening Gown. After months of
looking at different patterns, looking at
Antique shops I found a nice one.
So I have been sewing, here is what is
done so far.
This is the slip for the dress,
I decided to make it separated
from the dress as that was to
much fabric to sew together.
add sleeves and do the neck
Got the tiny sleeves on the dress today!
Today was the day to work on the
coat. It's now completed.
Here is the three pieces together.
I need to put some ribbons on the
coat collar. Plus hooks or snaps
on the back of the slip and dress.
Last thing is the cap, hopefully
that will be done tomorrow.
I also made a baby sleep bag.
Today was cap day!!
Completed, last photos before
I box them up to send. I made
another sleeper bag and this
am it was sent to the lady
that ordered this.

Special Thank You!!
The Geek Squad in Janzen Beach is an
awesome place to take your computer if
it starts to have an issue. On the 13th after
doing a Microsoft update the screen went
black. I know of a few ways to bring up
the screen and none of them worked. I
made and appointment for today and the
staffer there was just awesome and got the
laptop up and running! He also checked
on the updates and a few other items before
sending me on my way!!
Do you know what to do if you get a
Microsoft update that makes your
Microsoft update that makes your
screen go black??

Keeping Track of My Time 2022
1/2/2022
While out picking up our leaves I
picked up a handful of Maple leaves
from the north trees.
1/3/2022
Again I picked up a handful of Maple
leaves from the north. You should see
how littered the pine stuff was in Sable's
area.
1/5/2022
While out picking up the nana stalks
I picked up a full pickle bucket of
evergreen branches, pine cones and
Maple leaves.
1/8/2022
We started the yard cleanup not that the
yard is dry enough to walk on. We loaded
up the pickup all the way to the top of
the canopy with the limbs that came down.
I was able to rake up 2 - 32 gallon garbage
cans full of limbs, fir needles and pine cones.
I had to cut the ferns due to they were crushed
by all the limbs. I had to stop due to the knee
was starting to give out. Tomorrow is another
day!
Well today was finish cleanup day! I pulled
4 limbs out of the ground that were sunk into
the ground over 12 inches deep. I ranked up
the west hosta bed and today I took 4 - 32
gallon garbage cans off this area. Got it all
picked up before the knee started to hurt.
It is so nice to have my yard back!!
1/14/2022
Was my day to attempt to clean up the Northwest
corner around the Fringe Tree and in front of the
bed where it sits. I took 6 buckets of leaves, mainly
maple, pine needles, limbs and pine cones. I'm
slowly getting that area up under the fir trees
cleaned. The limbs are still falling and dangling.
and peony bed and south of the fern area.
1/29/2022
I took 1/2 of a 32 gallon bin off the area
south of the ferns. Fir needles, limb, pine
cones were over 3 inches deep. I have
the hollyhock bed to go on the west side.
While out I spotted another limb dangling
over the back bed.
Wisterias removed due to this
limb coming down right over
the top of them. 2/5/2022
2/6/2022
Today I raked up the south strawberry bed
and all around the blueberries bed. I took
3--32 gallon buckets of fir needles, pine
cones, branches, leaves ( half bucket of
Maple leaves from the north ) to cleanup.
Started the spring cleanup already!
2/9/2022
I vac up Sable's area, the gravel area between
the greenhouse and the east fence. I took off
1/2 bag of needles, which took a 1/2 hour to
do so.
2/16/2022
Today I took 4--5 gallon buckets of fir
needles off the north hosta bed and the
circle bed in the center of the back gardens.
We are going to leave the garden beds covered
and won't clean up the paths until the trees
are remove.
3/7/2022
I spent my morning cleaning out Sable's gravel
area and took 3/4 bag of needles off this area
and where DH parks his truck in the front
yard.
Then I went along the north fence and vac up
the Maple stuff that has fallen out of their trees.
All was over 3/4 bags of junk.
This all took an hour and half of moving
slow to not hurt the knee.
3/12/2022
While putting up the second gazebo DH
lost a screw so I had to clean out the area
to find it. I took a full bucket of fir needles
from between the shrubs and fence. A
area where we try to leave the needles
lay to stop the critter from going up
under the fence. When the trees are
gone this will be all cleaned out.
3/16/2022
I took another bucked of fir needles
up under the newest gazebo while
checking on the flowers that were
coming up. Time to clean up this
area again.
3/18/2022
Again I as out cleaning up the
south hosta bed and took 4
5 gallon buckets of fir and
other fallen fir tree items.
3/29/2022
I have never seen so many dandelions in
my yard as I have seen this year. I have now
sprayed for the 3rd time to rid the yard.
It just boggles the mind that folks neglect
their yards and allow theirs to go to seed
and spread all over the hood. Treat for your
dandelions and thistle!!
4/4/2022
What a mess!! High winds and lots of pine
limbs, cones and needles came down from
the west trees. I spent my afternoon cleaning
up 64 gallons of junk. I had to rank it up and
then pickup. Winds were so strong it took
the south fence gate latch off and blew the
gate back and forth even with the rock put
in place to keep the door from blowing. I
also ended up putting a cement block there
when I found the door pushed the it back.
It looks like I'll be back out tomorrow to
finish as the rain hit again.
4/5/2022
Well so much for a plan to finish today
but it looks like another day is in my plan.
I removed another 32 gallon bucket of
fir needles, pine cones and limbs from
the trees to the west. I will be again
working on the last of the beds tomorrow.
I also removed a full bag and a half off
Sable's area. So my afternoon was so
filled of cleanup again!!
4/6/2022
Spent my morning finishing up on the
back yard and removing 1 3/4 32 gallon
can of yard debris. My yard is back!!
Can't wait for the trees gone!!
5/2/2022
Still trying to get my yard back and
it was to do the area from the shrubs
to the fence where I took 4-5 gallon
buckets of what could be vac up. The
rain has soaked it in good. I probably
have another bucket that can be picked
up but it really needs to dry out.
Took a break to ice and then headed to
the north yard where I took 2-5 gallon
buckets off the north side of the houes.
Took another break to ice and then did
Sable's gravel area that was covered by
the evergreen pine. I took 2-5 gallon
buckets from just the south area. I had
enough and went in to ice!
5/16/2022
Another wind storm and today was the
day to clean Sable's gavel area again
I too 1 1/2 buckets of needles off her
spot and the walkway to the greenhouse.
5/22/2022
Today Allen took 1 1/2 buckets of tree
debris off the area between the greenhouse,
carport and on the back ladder area.
I tackled the deck and north and part of
the west fence cleaning, what a mess!
I also took a full bucket off the garden
bed plastic so we could remove and
allow the ground to dry out so we can
till to put in the garden
5/23/2022
Another full bag of needles and evergreen
stuff taken off Sable's gravel area east of
the greenhouse.
For the past two weeks there has been plenty
of Maple seeds, limbs and leaves from the
north to be picked up.
6/1/2022
Today was clean up Sable's area again!! I
took 3 bags off the east of the greenhouse,
west of the greenhouse and where Allen
parks from the trees to the east.
Then I took a half bag off of blooms from
the south yard, variegated weigelia and the
W. Black Dragon. I just cleaned that area
last week.
Will start the spring cut back soon.
6/2/2022
Yesterday was the first day I could get up
into the eagle's nest to clean it out since
the damage to the knee. I took 2/3 bucket
of pine needles, sticks, maple leaves and
seeds of the top area.
6/6/2022
Today again I had to clean up the gravel
area as the pine junk has it all covered and
Sable was bringing it into the house. I
took 1 2/3 bags off the gravel area which
is on the east side of our property. You
should see the mess between the carport
and the fence.
6/13/2022
Again I had to vac up Sable's area and
took a 1 and 1/2 bags off this area and
where Allen parks due to him complaining
of all the junk coming out of the east
neighboring trees. I have had to deal
with allergies for the past few days
after doing this. I just love how folks
just don't care of the mess that these
trees produce for adjacent properties.
According to the county if they trash
your yard one needs to take them to
court.
6/21/2022
Again had to vac up Sable's gravel
area and took another bag off this
area.
6/22/2022
Again today I had to vac up Sable's
gravel area, another bag of evergreen
junk.
Then this evening again I had to clean
off the driveway as more of it came
down. So you know what I'll be doing
tomorrow.
6/23/2022
This morning it took me 2 hours to clean
up the yard and blow out the street. I took
2 full bags off the gravel area. I also picked
up 80 leaves, lots of branches from their
evergreen trees beside cones from the trees
to the north.
7/77/2022
I have move what I've been doing to this post
after the east trees trashed out yard.

8/14/2022
I took a full bucket off the north garden beds as
the neighbor to the north tree are getting dead
limbs again so we have to deal with what drops.
8/29/2022
I took another 1/2 bag off Sable's area as the
trees to the right on the photo are still dropping
their junk!!
9/25/2022
Today I was able to get to the roof on both
the house and shed, lots of tree debris. We
took well over a buck of tree debris off the
gutters of the house and I just blew the junk
off the shed due to I knew the gravel area
needs to be vac again! What a mess again!!
9/30/2022
Time to mow the lawn and get the north tree
junk off the yard! Not only the leaves but the
dead evergreen sprigs all over. Once that was
done I took 2 & 1/2 bags off the gravel area
behind the fence and behind the classic car
area. 1/2 bags off where Allen parks. The
the three beds off the north fence needed to
be cleaned which produced yet 3 more bags
of evergreen stuff. I just raked this area
up a week ago. Still need to cut back more
in this area to make sure this is clean for fall.
We are awaiting for the Fall leaves to really
drop. Yep, they said they would take care of
their trees, just like they told the Officer that
they would pick up our yard and we could leave
what we pickup from our yard if we bag them.
But again it was returned to us!! Their trees
cost us dearly!
We ended up taking 18 bags of shredded leaves
off the north side of the house.
