Life is Good
It's Friday!! What a week of weather
and dealing with life here!! I have made
progress on the yard, slow but surely
getting it ready to be seen. Still have
some storm clean up from this week
so please forgive if it's a little messy.
Still have snow and cold on the mountains
around us so we haven't gotten the
veggie garden started. Rain makes it
hard to dry out so it can be tilled.
Still have to clean off the plastic
from when the trees were removed.
Health wise it's been a great week!
Just 3 weeks out from knee surgery
and Physical Therapy has really helped,
just have to remember to stop and
ice. I move slower these days, only
doing what really needs to be done.
PT is now cut back to weekly from
twice a week. Showing improvement!
Had my yearly cardiology appt. this
week and everything is holding just
great! No changes!! Go back in a
year!! That is great news.
We have set this weekend for opening
the gardens, weather permitted. Please
make an appt.

Paeomia Suffruticosa / Pivoine Sur Tige / 2022
Suffruticosa Kamata-Nishiki purchased
many moons ago from a local nursery
that no longer exists.
She is the highlight of our back yard
and the circle bed was created just for
her.
I'll let this years photos do the talking.
Enjoy!!
5/12/2022 Rain and windy day.
She still showed a glow!

5/14/2022 / Rain
Just love how when they age they turn silver
around the edge.
5/15/2022 Rainy day.
5/16/2022
Had to go out and stake her up, to much
rain and wind.
5/17/2022
As you can see she is starting to fade.
5/18/2022
Not bad for having a couple rain showers
and 25+mph winds.
5/19/2022
Last photos as she has faded and dropping
the petals now.
