the nanas in the bed by the fence to
stop the  squirrels from digging up
under the fence.  Then I was able to
take a 36 gallon bag of leaves off the

in the leaves to just put them in a garbage
without covering.

Before & After

 Before:

After:

This is how we spent our Sunday Morning!
3 1/2 hours later, we picked up 10 1/2 bags
of shredded maple leaves and pine.  2 pickle
buckets off the roofs of the house and shed.
Before I got time to vac up the front yard
and what has blown in from the east after
our last storm.  I vac up 1 full bag from the
front.

Why did I post this?   Here is the photo of the
new lawn that was put in fall of 2023. Now
compare it with the above photo.  Yes,
neighboring trees can damage your property!

It is so good to see our yard back!

There Will Be A Change To My Blog.

Time for a change here!

After being here for the past
11 years it was time to cut back
on the posts to what most folks
are looking for.

Enjoy!

The blog was cut back due to the
court case.  We are currently trying
to bring is all back.

Another Morning of Rain!

This morning I had to make a early
run to the Court House!  I just love the
friendly security folks and setting off
their security machine.  Let's just say
its a high light, but the lady behind me
set it off louder!!  She just chuckled as
she said she does this daily!  You meet
the nicest folks there!  As you leave they
even wish you a good day!  I was asked
why the mask?   Covid, Flue and Allergies,
I need to stay healthy  Isn't it cancer month
so the pink one is worn.

Got my business done as it was sprinkling
on the way back to the vehicle.  I came home
instead of running errors, I'll wait until the storm
blow past. We dropped 13 degrees cooler from
yesterday!  So glad I have the yard 80% cut
back and tucked away!

Yesterday I shared these photos with a few
folks as they asked what I do.

These are the hardy plants that can deal
with outside weathering during the winter
months.  As you can see they are in pots
and may need some added protection.

This greenhouse is our tropical house,
where we keep the temps warmer due
to what is inside.   We also have some
new cuttings for next year season.

My favorite Brug House, where they winter
and more cuttings can be found.  This year I
ran out of space in the Tropical house so we
will have to see how it goes.  I love to sit in
here during the winter months, my happy
place!

If you don't have a greenhouse and love
plants it's hard to understand.  The passion
to create new varieties of plants that no one
else has is the goal.

There is more to gardening than buying a
plant at the local gardening center.

Watch the temps as they begin to drop!

This evening we had to rescue a Hummer
that couldn't find it's way out.  It was enjoying
all the bloomers!
