2024 -- December --- Yard Cleanup

 12/1/2024   

Removed a full shredded bag

of Maple leaves from the north.

Was able to remove some of the 

Wisteria leaves from the front yard.

I picked up the yard by hand 2 times

each time over 100.

Again I picked up by hand twice and 

less than 100 total.

There are leaves out there but not today

am I going out to pick them up, too cold.

12/6/2024

Took the 5th off to work on the knee.

Today I vac up 1 full bag from the 

north maples that had blown across

the yard.  Then I took off 3 of a 32 

gallon garbage can off the wisteria 

area.  Then vac up the west end of the 

circle to pick up the leaves still blowing 

our way.

After last week's storm and wind I was

able to vac up 3 bags of maple leaves.

A great day to start getting more of our

leaves removed from the yard!   Just can't 

do much as it tires me out.

After the last couple days of rain and last

night's wind it was time to put the tarp back

on the greenhouse.  It blew off over night.

When that was done it was time to vac up

the leaves from the north.  1/3 of a bag of 

maple leaves were picked up.

Went out and vac up the front and collected

1/3 bag of leaves that had blown in and cleaned

the street.

12/18/2024

After the last couple days of rain and then

last night's high winds I ended up cleaning 

again.  1/3 bag of leaves and then I took

on the hoop house as the wind did damage.

Lost one set of hoops so I had to redo the

over flow house.  Just a smaller path to walk

through to get to the other side.  Took Sable

out and she navigated it well.  More winds

so I know I'll have more leaves!

Had to clean up the curb after the neighbor's

crew cam in and clean up their side of the 

roadway, blowing to the north neighbor's yard

and then blowing to the west to the end of the

circle.  Picked up 1/4th bag of leaves.

Today, starts the back to back storms, 5 of 

them so I'm sure there will be plenty of leave

headed our way.

Back to back storms again.  Today I had to go 

out and pick up a large limb that came out of

the north Maple tree. Photo to come.
