available. This plants is a 'tissue culture' plant and will only
root when it is actively growing, which means cuttings are
taken in the summer months. We take small cuttings to root
and it will take about a year to have a plant to sell or send.
So you will have to wait a year to get a plant!!
The first winter after our purchase, we offered cuttings and
many folks couldn't get their cutting rooted. We have seen some
photos of plants in the past and when we questions folks about
their plants the one thing that is noted is the strong fragrance that
they tell us about. Then we questions them about the sports that
B. Shorty's variegated will throw off. Some of the folks do have
B. Shorty's variegated, so we know she is out there. She isn't registered
as both groups won't allow as the history is unknown. I have shared
information about her and they know all about how she was found.
The back ground photo use here on our blog is from the fall
of 2019. Her third flush after our summer of extreme high temps
she just shined by blooming her heart out. A lot of the other
brugmansias we grow really didn't do well in the heat except
B. Frosty Pink.

will be in the $18 to 20 range, plus priority postage.
We send out plants from April 15, our last date of frost until
October 1 each year. We will not send out plants in the heat of the
summer or during Frost/cold periods as we want out plants to arrive
and thrive so you will get a great plant. So please understand it's
important to give these plants the proper care. We pride ourselves
on the quality of what we send out.
We have been growing Brugmansia since 1994. We do test plants for
other hybridizers and will not release a Brug until the hybridizer saids
we can release them.
We do not release any of the seeds from B. Shorty's variegated or her offsprings
due to the albino seeds we have seen come from the pods.
