What A Weekend!!

We were able to get out into the yard
and get the tarp off the red gazebo. So
more of the fir chips can be vac up and
I need to get them out of the shrubs
where they are just loaded.  After many
rain delays you would think Mother
Nature would help get them out but
they are crammed in the stalks and
leaves.  Not even the wind has shaken
them loose.   DH when he was getting
the tarp weights up over the fence
stated you should see the mess over
on their side.  I just laughed when they
offered to come clean up!!  It is truly
time to take them back to court!!

You see our yard isn't like any other
yard in Clark County, it's a show case
for the neighborhood.   We had over
450 folks come tour our yard one year.
We have put our yard on the County's
garden tour a couple times to only have
to pull our site due to neighbors' issues.
When we called into the County to cancel
our obligation we are asked why.  We tell
them and they ask for us to try the next year.
We open our gardens when we have our
annual garage sale and folks just go nuts.
I have had nursery folks come and we have
been told it's great to see what we sell in a
garden of yours.

So if you would like to visit our gardens,
please make an appointment.  Our gardens
are what is classified as a working garden.
We test seeds for growers and have yet to
pull out some of the plants so we are busy
getting them out of the greenhouses.

This past weekend was taking our beloved
B. Shorty's Variegated out of the greenhouse
and putting her in a larger pot.

Here she is in the greenhouse trying to bloom.
When we pulled her out, we strip her of most of her
leaves and pulled her out of her 5 gallon pot that was
in a 5 gallon bucket to make her easy to move.

More photos later.
