New Monthly Record

The count went over 800 some time
yesterday!   Maybe I should thank the
two spammers??  Not!

It's time to garden and not much time
for anything else.  Yesterday I started
the cut back of the spring, early bloomers
and since the weather has been so strange
have left the veggie gardens to the last
minute.  Today, the rest of it will be planted.

I have trimmed back the new growth on the
blue berries and with the heat I have lost
half of the strawberry plants.  Time to get a
new soaker hose for that area.  The Hollyhocks
are getting big, so soon they will be flowering.
Need to get the last of the Sunflowers seeds
planted.  Some of the perennial Hibiscus are
up and growing, so you know we have been
warmer than normal.  But with that stated
the clouds have returned and it's really great
to see normal temps again.

Thank you again for all of you that have stopped
in to visit.  As things bloom I'll post them!
